Over time all computers become congested with old files, corrupted or duplicated files, partially removed programs, failed downloads, failed updates and much more besides>

Much of this occurs naturally and is not anyone’s
fault, however the result is that your computer runs ever slower and in very severe cases can lead to system failure.

There are a number of maintenance procedures such Disk Defragmenter and Disk Cleanup that will help and some Software that can improve the situation, but eventually there comes a point where even this does not work.

The only solution when your PC or Laptop has reached this stage is to have it restored to it’s original factory condition. This means that system hard drive is formatted (wiped clean) and the operating system, and application software is re-installed and updated bringing the computer back to it’s original working condition.

Any information that you wish to preserve such as Documents, Data, Pictures, Emails or Favourites can be copied to an external drive beforehand and then be re-imported to the restored computer.

It will also be necessary to re-install your printer and scanner and any other attached equipment when the computer is returned to you and it will probably be necessary to re-establish your broadband and network connections.

The full restoration of a Computer or Laptop is carried out in my workshop for a fixed charge of £69. This includes the copying and transfer of data as directed and the collection and return of the restored computer to your home address.

If you require me to re-install your equipment, Internet and Broadband connections there will be an additional charge of £45
