HEALTHY COMPUTER CLUB
TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

Membership of the Healthy Computer Club is on an annual basis commencing from the date of the initial Computer Health Check and upon payment of the annual fee.

 

Members are entitled to support and services for a single specified computer registered at one address for a period of 1 year. Additional computers may be registered at the same address on payment of the appropriate fee. Registrations are not transferable between computers.

 

Before the Health Check can be carried out, each computer will be tested for basic functionality. If the operating system is failing to start or is already infected by Virus or Malware to the extent that it is inoperable, it will not be possible to carry out a Health Check until these problems have been resolved.

 

Membership benefits per registered computer:
 

 

Telephone and remote support is provided for the Windows operating system , it’s components and for general computer use. Remote support cannot be provided for third party application software, broadband services or connectivity, networks, peripherals or wireless connectivity all of which require an on-site presence. (separate charges apply).

 

Whilst every effort will be made to resolve problems over the telephone or by remote access, this is not always possible and an on-site visit may be required. On-site visits are not included in the membership fee and separate charges will apply.

 

Members will be provided with a unique password per registered computer which will be requested when calls are logged for service. For security purposes members may be asked to provide further information to verify the registered computer.

 

Annual renewals are optional but must occur before or not later than seven days after the membership expiry date. At renewal an appointment will be made for a technician to visit the member’s premises to complete a Computer Health Check and to update and renew the Internet Security Suite provided.
